I grew up in London, Ontario spending the majority of my time in competitive sports, playing and coaching, before moving to Ottawa for university.
My first jobs included working in a deli, waitressing at a private golf course, and hostessing at a fine-dining restaurant. Everyone should work in the service industry at least once, it teaches you a whole lot about people.
Ottawa turned out to be a lot colder and snowier than London. In my 4.5 years at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, I completed my Bachelor of Commerce with a Marketing specialization. I case cracked, I experienced 4 work terms, I networked and made lifelong friends. This was a fun and proud achievement for me.
With the realization of enjoying a fast-paced, always-changing environment during my work terms, I fell in love with the world of tech and startups.
And I haven't left.
Now where I feel at home, I consider myself to be a self-motivated marketing strategist with 5+ years of experience across the tech and SaaS space. I'm an insights-driven, creative problem solver with a track record in using compelling ways to reach target audiences that drive client and business impact.
Resourceful and scrappy in execution, I push myself to take on challenges, ask a lot of questions, and learn from both mistakes and successes. I'm passionate about storytelling, the combination of strategy and creativity, and creating alignment and collaboration across teams to achieve big results.
I'm now working as the Demand Generation Manager at Raven.ai.
MY STORY GOES A LITTLE LIKE THIS
I snooze my alarm one too many times then get out of bed to see my beloved Nespresso machine. A little bit of vitamin D on my balcony and a double espresso later, I'm ready to start my day.

PLAN, PLAN, PLAN
From daily to-do lists, to full-fledged marketing plans, tactical calendars, budgets, and targets: I strategize, develop, manage and execute — moving high priorities forward first.
Blogging, ebooks, web pages, and everything in between, I write content valuable to the reader. Understanding the customer journey and empathizing with customer painpoints is step one. Developing a strategy to launch engaging, informative content is step two. And then, I write. Step four? Ensuring brand cohesiveness and tone of voice.

GET FRIENDLY WITH LEAD GEN
Outside of work, you can usually find me lounging in my pajamas with friends and family, reading, instagramming, or binge-watching a series. I’m a fan of live music or loud headphones, side projects, and sports. My hidden talent is creating my favourite food, charcuterie boards.
Seasoned in Hubspot and making friends with Marketo, I develop and implement email nurtures, courses, and lead reheat programs using HTML coding and thoughtful workflow steps.

BE A TEAM PLAYER
My recent lead gen growth experiment? 1) Building chatbots using nifty platforms including Drift, Intercom, and Hubspot. On top of growth experiments, developing email courses, social media, SEM, educational downloadables, worksheets, and guides are go-tos.
I can work independently but love collaboration. From empowering team members, to brainstorming in front of a whiteboard, I work towards shared team goals so we can all celebrate a win after a successful sprint. After all, there's no I in team.
